Topic: Ao Dai should not be compulsory clothes
for female students in Hue College of foreign languages during examination

In many colleges, students can wear their usual clothes when taking examination, while in Hue College of foreign languages female students have to wear Ao Dai during the examination. There are several arguments around this issue. Some girls like wearing Ao Dai agree with this rule, while others do not agree. However, for my point of view, female students in Hue College of foreign languages should not be compulsory to wear Ao Dai during the examination for several following reasons.
My opponent argues that wearing Ao Dai during the exam will make female students more beautiful. It is not wrong. However, according to me, wearing Ao Dai makes students beautiful so the college should let their students wear Ao Dai as uniform. I certain that if the college does like this, not only during the exam but also everyday their female students will be more beautiful. Besides, many students wear Ao Dai during the exam only because of the rule of college, and they do not concern themselves with the beauty of Ao Dai.
Another argument is that wearing Ao Dai can help the college to reduce cheating. There is no pocket in Ao Dai, so students cannot keep materials to use; therefore, it can make equal between hardworking and lazy students. However, I really do not agree with this point. I believe that equality in the exam does not depend on what clothes students wear; it only depends on each student’s knowledge and consciousness. Moreover, all teachers are very strict and impartial so cheating in the exam is rarely. Therefore, not only hardworking students but also lazy students will get real results for their learning.
A further supporting for my argument is wearing Ao Dai will affect negatively student’s result. We already know that Ago Dai is very different from other clothes. For example, it is so fit and close with the body, which makes students feel hard to breathe while they need comfortable condition to do the exam. Additionally, some Ao Dai is not good quality, perhaps it is so old. As a result, sometimes, some problems can be occurred with thread or press-stud can make students lack concentrate on the exam. Moreover, some females have not acquainted with wearing Ao Dai, thus, they feel so shy and uncomfortable when others look at them. These reasons will make student’s result become worse.
To conclude, Ao Dai is very beautiful clothes. Nevertheless, with those reasons I have mentioned above, I want to say again that Ao Dai should not be compulsory clothes for female students in Hue College of foreign languages during the exam.
